Natural do sertão do Ceará, Daniel estudou canto, piano e teatro ainda em sua cidade natal, Crato, a 600 km da capital Fortaleza, se aventurou pela rádio, apresentou dois programas na Tv Brasileira, trabalhou como modelo da agencia Ford Models ate voltar a sua maior paixão, a música. Em janeiro de 2005 Daniel Peixoto formou o projeto Montage, foi citada pela revista BIZZ como o projeto que faltava há, no mínimo, 18 anos e eleito o "melhor show do Brasil" pela da Folha de SP tanto em 2005 como em 2006. Participou de festivais e dividio palcos com bandas como JUSTICE, DIGITALISM, BJORK, THE KILLERS, ARTICK MONKEYS, HOT CHIP, SUPERGRASS, STEREO TOTAL, NEON JUDGMENT, THE CARDIGANS e GANG OF FOUR. Entre outros feitos, vale citar que foi o 1 nome da América Latina a ter um show virtual no Second life, tocou em todos os estados Brasileiros e em outros países do mundo, venceram os premios "London Burning - Melhor artista de 2007" e "HellCity - Melhor Show de 2008" ambos por juri popular. Foi tido como "Maravilhoso, e o novo David Bowie pelo jornalista ingles Peter Culshaw do jornal The Guardian. Em 2009, na mesma época em que era elogiado por ninguém menos Justin Timbalake em seu site pessoal onde define Daniel como "Um encontro entre Shine toy Guns, Prodigy e a paixão tipicamente brasileira", Daniel encerra o trabalho como Montage e passa assinar seu propio nome. apresentando ao mundo o novo pop tropical, misturando electro, Baile Funk, Forró, Macumba e Tecnobega. Daniel teve sua estreia oficial na carreira solo abriando a turnê brasileira da maior banda de musica eletronica do mundo, os Ingleses do The Prodigy e lançou em seguida o primeiro single "Come to Me" em um pacote que inclui álbum de remixes, camisetas e um video clipe resultado de um flash mob na cidade de Belém do Pará. O clipe teve estreia com exclusividade para MTV Brasil, onde Daniel sempre colabora em reportagens como convidado especial da emissora. Convidado pela parada gay de SP (já a maior do mundo) Daniel gravou o tema oficial da parada 2010 e fez a faixa "Sinta o amor em mim" cantando a musica ao vivo para 3.5 milhões de pessoas durante o evento em um trio eletrico que levou seu nome e teve um line up repleto de novos nomes da cena eletronica brasileira. Em abril, Daniel lançou então "Mastigando Humanos" seu album com 14 musicas ineditas e arrancou elogios e revistas como Rolling Stones e MixMag e de sites como MadDecente do Dj Diplo de NY. O disco esta disponivel no mundo todo, e foi distribuido pela Pias Records de Londres, mesmo label de nomes como Adele e Radiohead. Logo apos o lançamento, Daniel mudou-se para Europa e segue sua carreira agora focado no publico do velho continente, tocando em varios paises. La ficou por semanas em 1º lugar nos Charts da Alemanha com o video de "Eu so Paro se Cair" e foi tido como o "Principe do Electro Brasileiro" pela MTV de Nova York.
Born at the hinterland of Ceará (North of Brazil), Daniel studied singing, piano and drama in his hometown Crato, 600 km from the capital Fortaleza, ventured in radio, presented two programs on Brazilian TV stations, worked as a model on Ford Models agency until go back to his greatest passion: Music. In January 2005, Daniel Peixoto formed the Montage project, wich was quoted by the magazine BIZZ as the band that was missing for at least 18 years and voted "best show in Brazil" by Folha de SP in both 2005 and 2006. He played in festivals and shared stages with artists like Justice, Digitalism, Bjork, The Killers, Artick Monkeys, Hot Chip, Supergrass, Stereo Total, Neon Judgement, The Cardigans and Gang of Four. Among other achievements, his band Montage was the first Latin America project to have a virtual concert on Second Life. Daniel played in all Brazilian states and other countries in the world, won the prize "London Burning - Best Artist of 2007" and " Hellcity - Best Show of 2008 "both by popular jury. Was deemed "gorgeous and the new David Bowie" by journalist Peter Culshaw from the English newspaper The Guardian. In 2009, at the same time he was praised by Justin Timbalake on his personal website where Daniel was defined as "a meeting of Shine Toy Guns, Prodigy and a typically Brazilian passion". Daniel finished the work as a Montage member to sign with his own name. showing the world the new tropical pop, mixing electro, baile funk, forró, macumba and tecnobega. He had his official debut as a solo artist opening the Brazilian tour of the biggest electronic band in the world, The Prodigy from UK, and launched his first single "Come to Me" in a package that includes album of remixes, t-shirts and a video clip wich is the result of a flash mob in Belém do Pará. The video premiered exclusively for MTV Brazil, where Daniel always collaborates on articles as a special guest of the channel on its website. Invited by the gay parade of São Paulo (the biggest in the world already), Daniel recorded the official theme of the parade in 2010 and made the track "Sinta o amor em mim (Feel the love in me)" and performed it live for 3,5 million people during the event over a trio elétrico (name used in Brazil for a truck equipped with an extremely high powerful sound system) with his name on it and had a line up full of new artists from Brazilian electronic scene. In April, Daniel launched "Mastigando Humanos (Chewing Humans)", his album with 14 new songs and has won praises and magazines such as Rolling Stones and MixMag and sites like Diplo's MadDecente. Soon after the launch, Daniel moved to Europe and pursue his career, now focused on the public from old continent.
